STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. enter new event, or attempt to edit existing one
2. start entering a location in the location field
3. See annoying pop-up list of undesired locations interrupt every effort to enter the desired one, requiring clicking outside the field to get rid of the list after EACH LETTER!
4. Search all available settings, and find NO option to turn off the anti-feature.

OBSERVED RESULT
Annoying popup of locations that hides data entry field with no way to turn it off.

EXPECTED RESULT
Having an option in the settings menu that would enable turning the popup function OFF (or on if one is SERIOUSLY masochistic)
