SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** Currently, the only way to set custom timer durations is through mouse wheels. This makes it impossible to interact with a mouse. For example, I have a touchpad, but scrolling on the touchpad changes the values drastically. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Try to set a timer duration with touchpad. 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT It is very hard to control. EXPECTED RESULT We should have alternative ways to adjust the time duration. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.1.6 / 5.26.5 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.102.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Fixed in Plasma 5.27 already.
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > Fixed in Plasma 5.27 already. I'm not sure what you mean by "fixed" -- in 5.27.0 the timer can still only be adjusted by scrolling.
I was reacting to "We should have alternative ways to adjust the time duration." There are alternative means to adjust the duration in the context menu and settings window, but you're right that there's no way to adjust the time in the popup or main view.

That way (preset timers) already exist, I think before 5.26 -- but it is not flexible enough because there is only a finite number of presets you can add
