Power Profile Changes

The slider for power profiles does successfully change the profile but it then snaps back to its original position, visually indicating an unsuccessful change (see attached video).

I see that in a comment to the original commit Nate Graham had a similar issue.

Indeed I did, and it's unfortunately a bug in either power-profiles-daemon or the kernel, not our code.. See https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/hadess/power-profiles-daemon/-/issues/106.

Ok, thanks. For me it does change the setting, it's just the GUI that goes back to the original position. I'm using a thinkpad as well (P1).
