Description Denis Lisov 2023-02-08 14:22:27 UTC
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Bind some action causing a switch to another window (in my case, open Yakuake) to Ctrl+Mute or some other shortcut with Ctrl
2. Open Kate with some document
3. Use the shortcut to switch to another window while leaving Kate window on screen
4. Scroll over the document open in Kate to scroll it

OBSERVED RESULT
Scrolling the mouse wheel causes font size changes instead of scrolling the document even though the Ctrl button is not pressed when scrolling.

EXPECTED RESULT
Scrolling without having Ctrl pressed should cause scrolling the document.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Kate: 22.12.2
KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.102.0
Qt Version: 5.15.8
Operating System: Gentoo Linux ~amd64 (up to date)
Graphics Platform: Wayland

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet.
I wasn't able to reproduce this with Plasma 6.1 on Solus.

Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with either Plasma 5.27 (the current LTS version) or Plasma 6.0.5 (the latest released version)?

If you can still reproduce the bug, please change the Status to "CONFIRMED". Thanks.
