So far I could not reproduce this in a Wayland session.

Did you by any chance either switch to another Plasma theme and then back to Breeze? Or upgrade recently?

Does it go away if you run `rm ~/.cache/*plasma*; plasmashell --replace` in a terminal window?

I recently upgraded to 5.27. Yes, the glitch only appears when switching to another global theme and back to Breeze. The other themes (Expose, Otto, Win10OS-light) look fine.

`rm ~/.cache/*plasma*; plasmashell --replace` does fix the issue.

Thanks, sounds like Bug 450243. Maybe a bit of Bug 448750 too.
