Screen recording of notification not clearing away properly

SUMMARY
Sometimes notifications will persist even after their timer runs out. Clicking close will not close them immediately, but clicking close a second time or after that waiting for them to expire will close them. I've found no pattern to when or what kind of notifications get stuck like this.

OBSERVED RESULT
Some notifications don't clear properly and don't close at first click on close button (see attachment)

EXPECTED RESULT
All notifications clear away when their timer runs out, or closes on first try

SOFTWARE
OS: KDE neon 5.26
KDE Plasma: 5.26.5
KDE Frameworks: 5.102.0
Graphics platform: X11

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This happens to individual notifications. There can be one that is stuck while another one at the same time works normally.
