Plasma shell's memory footprint grows and grows - often reaching in excess of 20Gb before it makes my machine unusable and I have to kill and restart it.

Memory: 23.4 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030/PCIe/SSE2

what process is to blame? `plasmashell` itself?
