(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: konqueror Version: KDE 3.0.2 Severity: wishlist Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: Not Specified OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified Ok the idea is to take the concept of playlists e.g. for mp3 players and use it for web browsing. There are certain sites which I look at every day (most of them web comics). My idea would be instead of selecting bookmark after bookmark I'd select a "webcomic playlist". Then konqueror would load the first page and I'd just click on a "next" button to get to the next comic. Additionally konqueror could pre-load the next comic already while I'm still reading one. Opera has a somewhat similar feature which loads all bookmarks of a certain bookmark folder but calling so many websites at once is initially slow and requires to close a lot of windows afterwards. Nevertheless the playlist user interface could be implemented in a similar fashion. So a bookmark folder would additionally to "Add Bookmark" and "New Folder" have a button "Automatically Browse this folder" (well maybe a shorter term would be needed ;-). Best wishes Stefan (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
It seems that this Feature isn't inplement in the Latest Build (tested under: KDE Frameworks: Version 5.110.0. Qt-Version 5.15.11 (compiled against 5.15.11)) Betriebssystem: EndeavourOS KDE-Plasma-Version: 6.3.0 KDE-Frameworks-Version: 6.10.0 Qt-Version: 6.8.2 Kernel-Version: 6.13.2-arch1-1 (64-bit) If this Feature should still implement, recreate this Ticket and mark it with the "Wishlist" severity. --- Some Ressources: -Documentation: https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/konqueror/konqueror/konqueror.pdf (under 3.3.2 - doesn't seems like "audio preview" is supported) - Userbase: https://userbase.kde.org/Konqueror (For Website-Ressource-Management, I haven´t add an Proof-of-Concept Video/Picture for this old Ticket)
