SUMMARY
Image thumbnails and images in the preview pane are cropped.

It looks like it may be thought as a feature to show a preview of the relevant part of an image, but when I browsed my image folder I wondered because I didn't remember that I would have cropped the images. Looking at the preview pane it also looked like it were cropped versions and only opening the image in gwenview helped seeing that it is in fact no cropped image but only cropped thumbnails.

I think cropping previews is no good feature for a file manager, because users like to find a particular image and may not be able to identify it when it is cropped.
