STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the text tool
2. Drag to open
3. Text appears larger

OBSERVED RESULT
Previously when using the text tool, it was an appropriate size (size 12) now where it displays size 9 it is way too large.

EXPECTED RESULT
I want to open the text tool that is smaller or reflects the text size to reduce confusion and frustration.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 Simon Ra 2023-09-27 13:53:47 UTC
I can reproduce this, both on 5.1.5 and after 5.2 rc2 (git 05601432).
Even on the small font sizes the text is phohibitively large (thousands of pixels), not drawn inside the box i select with the text tool, and will hang krita when I attempt to transform it beyond moving it around.

As this is not that widely reported, maybe it depends on system configuration? I'm also on Windows 10.

Could other Windows users confirm if they are affected or not?
Comment 2 Simon Ra 2023-09-27 14:09:29 UTC
It has been pointed out on IRC that this is actually related to having a huge pixels per inch set on the document, which makes sense. It's still a little unintuitive that the text will often be offscreen, though.
