Split loan transaction details

SUMMARY
I have an existing outstanding loan with incoming payments. Somewhere in the last couple of AppImage releases, the scheduled transactions have the plus (+) sign swapped for minus (-). And now the total value is screwed up.
This means that I now have to enter into each transaction to edit the split details.

See the screenshot for the reverse sign details:
The original transaction value is +241.58 (see [1])
The amortization and interest value used to be positive (+158.57 and +83.01). Now they have become negative (see [2]), resulting in a total value of negative -241,58 (see [3]).

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE Leap 15.4

What happens if you change the transaction to a withdrawal (press on the withdrawal tab) before you open the split editor?

The result is an interesting switcheroo: The splits become positive. So even thought the transaction is an incoming payment, I've entered it as a withdrawal and the money is added to the account/category correctly.

If this problem is still reproducible, it would be nice to get a simplified test case

This is fixed in 5.2 which has separate columns for debits and credits and only shows positive amounts. So I mark it as fixed here.
