Created attachment 155557 [details] screenshot SUMMARY I am getting redundant notifications about needing to reboot when i wake from sleep mode Also the system notification helper reboot button/notice that appears in the system tray widget, this opens a full screen overlay, shouldn't this be a menu rather than a full screen overlay, seems a bit excessive i really do not think it needs a timer to auto reboot STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. use system till it needs a reboot 2. ignore reboot request 3. use sleep mode (i use sleep mode overnight, suspend to ram) 4. repeatedly go to step 2 and continue with daily usage 5. start getting lots of notifications about a needed reboot eventually, i do not need to be told 6 times within a single minute that i need to reboot when we both know i am not going to OBSERVED RESULT Getting 6+ notification in less than 60 seconds EXPECTED RESULT Get 1 notification / day or wake from sleep event SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Kubuntu 22.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.7 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Kernel Version: 5.17.13-051713-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 580 Series ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This notification comes from kubuntu-notification-helper, which lives on KDE infrastructure at https://invent.kde.org/system/kubuntu-notification-helper but doesn't have a Bugzilla product. Rik, do you know where bugs for this software live these days?
Ah, https://bugs.launchpad.net.
