Description Gergely HORVÁTH 2023-01-24 12:51:43 UTC
I have a laptop and use it on X11, however with external screen I switch to Wayland. This happens about once a week. Using the external screen, the setup is such, that the panel and the application launcher is on the external screen. The external screen is used on 100% scale, while the laptop screen is used on 150% scale.

On x11 the application launcher is set to its minimum size around my 16 favourite icons, however when I switch to wayland it resizes itself to some default size. It may not seem much, but my icons are ordered based on their colour, so when resized this setup is spoiled.

This will no longer be possible in Plasma 5.27, as we removed the ability to reduce the Kickoff popup to a size smaller than it's default size due to it causing various bugs.
