SUMMARY Since one week I experience annoying issue with arrange of Firefox windows after Plasma restoring the session. Namely, every time I run Plasma session all of them are placed at left top corner., despite before I had them at different positions. Please notice that is not the issue with gtk+ applications, because Thunderbird which is also restored, is placed at position what I left it in recent session. Worth to add I have two Activities, on first one is running 3 Firefox and on second only one (here also Firefox is placed at top left corner). Second thing is, my all 4 restored Firefox have couple dozen of opened tabs (one over 100). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT Firefox windows are placed always at top left corner after Plasma session is restoring . EXPECTED RESULT Firefox windows should be placed in position what they were when I log out from the Plasma session. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION System: Neon Unstable edition Graphics Platform: X11
I cannot reproduce this on different account, where I started 2 Firefox instances with couple tabs. I'm not sure where relies the problem that position and size of Firefox windows are not saved and restored correctly in my one account
I cannot reproduce this on newly installed Neon Unstable Edition (placed on HDD). Firefox windows are correctly placed like at moment of unlogin.
