SUMMARY When trying to explain to a friend how to show or hide hidden files in Dolphin, he told me that he could not find any setting for configuring it in the settings of Dolphin itself. I tried looking for it, too, and was unable to find any configuration at all. Eventually we found it in System Settings > Shortcuts > Common Actions, View > Show/Hide Hidden Files. A small option in the Dolphin settings to configure this would be nice to have, since I am assuming a lot of users will use that feature in Dolphin and not a whole lot of other places. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Dolphin 2. Open Dolphin settings 3. Try to find Show/Hide Hidden Files toggle OBSERVED RESULT No setting is available EXPECTED RESULT A setting to configure or toggle hidden files is available SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.1.6-arch1-3 (64-bit) KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.102.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
You don't say which version of Dolphin. I'm using 22.12.0 and in that I have: Hamburger Menu (≡) | Configure | Configure Keyboard Shortcuts ... Does that not do what you want?

I completely glanced over that option, apologies on my end. That is exactly what I was looking for.
