krunner_in_blue

SUMMARY
krunner does not seem to use the selected accent color.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Appearance > Global Theme > Colors > Use accent color > Green
2. XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP="KDE"
3. Reboot
4. krunner accent color is using the default blue

Can't confirm, works for me on Plasma 5.26.5.

This is caused by Kubuntu shipping its own theming for KRunner that overrides the system's color settings. This was fixed by not respecting that overridden theming in Plasma 5.26 and later. I would also recommend that you talk to the Kubuntu folks and ask them to dro it from their packaging, if they haven't already.
