Weird ordering

See attached screenshot. I have never opened this app, whereas I have opened System Settings hundreds or thousands of times. So seeing System Settings second in the list seems odd.

Git master everything KDE on top of Fedora KDE 37.

Can you please attach the desktop file of steam settings?

/usr/share/applications/steam.desktop

It appears that it comes from steam.desktop, which defines this action:

[Desktop Action Settings]
Name=Settings

So I can see why it gets the coveted first position, since it's an exact name match for the search term "settings".

Can't reproduce. Plasma 6.0.4.
Typing "settings" shows "System Settings" first, then Waydroid's "Settings", then "Settings - Steam".

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=486063 seems related
Comment 5 Nate Graham 2025-02-22 18:07:39 UTC
I can't reproduce this anymore.
