SUMMARY
***
Running in Phosh (GTK Wayland shell on a phone) and using on-screen keyboard (Squeekboard), the addressbar drop-down menu is stealing/blocking input from that OSK. To do the job, every character has to be typed twice -- first to make the drop-down disappear, and then to type in the address bar.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. run Falkon in Phosh mobile shell
2. edit address using an onscreen keyboard Squeekboard

OBSERVED RESULT
drop-down menu blocks input from the OSK

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: postmarketOS 22.12 (and also updated to edge, where Falkon is at 22.12.1)

Disabling search suggestions etc doesn't help, as the drop-down still appears.
An option to disable the drop-down altogether would be an excellent solution.

Another user has already mentioned this problem in bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=462885
I must also say that other than this bug, Falkon is clearly the best and absolutely problem-free browser for a Linux smartphone. Thanks!

I have the same problem with SXMO postmarketOS running Sway/Wayland using wvkbd keyboard.
