Please download digiKam AppImage 7.9.0, and run Showfoto on the command line using 'showfoto' argument. Now try to export as videslideshow to reproduce the dysfunction. https://www.digikam.org/download/ I think Ubuntu like native package do not compile properly the ffmpeg engine. Here i use Kubuntu and i see others problem with video and audio. AppImage bundle is compiled with a ffmpeg enabling all the necessary for digiKam. Giles Caulier
