Description frederic.parrenin@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr 2023-01-12 17:05:57 UTC
SUMMARY
I am on Debian Bookworm with KDE 5.26.5 on my Dell XPS 13 laptop.
For a few weeks, I sometimes cannot connect to my wifi network at home using the network applet.
I click, it tries to connect for a fraction of a second, but it fails and stays disconnected.
If I stop/restart KDE, then it works.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Not sure of the reproduction steps since it does not always happen.
It seems to happen after I have used my wired connection at work and when I come back home.

OBSERVED RESULT
I cannot connect to my wifi network.

EXPECTED RESULT
I should be able to connect to my wifi network, without restarting KDE.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian Bookworm with KDE/Wayland
KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.5a
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.101.0
Qt Version: 5.15.7

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If I restart KDE, then I can connect to the wifi network.

Can you clarify how exactly you do this?

Since an upgrade of my system, I do not experience this bug anymore.
So maybe it is possible to close it.
