SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install 22.04 on x86 tablet 2. Try to use Maliit 3. OBSERVED RESULT - Maliit does not accept Shift :D I simply cannot input my password for updating because it contains uppercase :D - Maliit does only open once, cannot be closed, if i pull down, never comes back - Onboard crashes on any input Maliit worked well on 20.04 :( EXPECTED RESULT Maliit or Onboard is working normally. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: 22.04/5.26 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This should be an issue in Maliit itself, not Neon. Please report at https://github.com/maliit/keyboard/issues. Thanks!
May be related to Neon, as in the previous release it worked well and maybe the Neon integration of Maliit is buggy, not the keyboard itself. Also would be good to have a working Onboard input on Wayland (works well on X11).
Neon would have upgraded to a new version between 20.04 and 22.04, which very likely caused these issues. Any integration issues on KDE's side would largely be between Maliit and KWin, not Maliit and Neon.

Yes, i have upgraded. Can you please move the issue to KWin, or should i open a new one? Sorry for posting to an incorrect place :)

Please file a new bug report for it, as this bug report has too much unrelated stuff in it. :)
OK, thanks :)
