scan of the cups test-print, which shows only black pages in okular

since we have a new printer/scanner in our office (cannon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX C5840i) , most scans (mostly more than one page long, but sometimes also one-pagers) are shown with just black pages in okular. Some, mostly small scans are shown correct. Other PDF-viewers display all documents correct. Even the preview, when I hover over a PDF Document in the file-browser is shown correct. It doesn't make a difference, whether the document is just black-white or color.
During scanning I can choose the PDF Format (1.4, 1.5, PDF-A, …) but it doesn’t make any difference.
Attached is documents (the same sheet of paper scanned three times) that shows just the black pages. The same sheet of paper scanned only once shows correctly in okular.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Scan document with above mentioned scanner
2. open document in okular

OBSERVED RESULT
just black pages (but the right number ob pages)

EXPECTED RESULT
see the document

But the file browser dolphin is also using poppler, isn't? I see the correct previews in dolphin. If it would be a problem of poppler, the preview should also not work.

No, it is not.
