Created attachment 155096 [details] generated report with backtrace by DrKonqi Application: kdenlive (22.12.1) Qt Version: 5.15.8 Frameworks Version: 5.101.0 Operating System: Linux 6.1.3-zen1-1-zen x86_64 Windowing System: X11 Distribution: "Arch Linux" DrKonqi: 5.26.5 [KCrashBackend] -- Information about the crash: While I have a project opened in Kdenlive, if I fold the window (minimize it) and just do something else on a computer, e.g. watching onlive videos, after about 20 minutes or so when I try to go back to kdenlive, it crashes and sometimes crashes the OS with it. This can happen when the project is being rendered, or it can happen if Kdenlive is just opened and nothing is happening. Previously I did not have movit installed and it would log me out of my user session, then after a few seconds someimtes would reboot the computer. Sometimes it would just crash to the login screen and them mess up the KDE session. After I installed movit and enabled GPU accelartion and tried to replicated this bug, the project just crashed and I am able to use internal tool to submit a bug report In the system log I saw that there was a QT problem, saying "bad window": Feb 01 20:02:50 Tiger kwin_x11[1033]: qt.qpa.xcb: QXcbConnection: XCB error: 3 (BadWindow), sequence: 49747, resource id: 41943844, ma> The crash can be reproduced sometimes.
Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 23.08.4 to see if there are any packaging issues https://kdenlive.org/en/download/

(In reply to emohr from comment #1) > Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 23.08.4 to see if > there are any packaging issues https://kdenlive.org/en/download/ I've tested packaged flatpack and normal instillation and it seems the bug is now gone, so it seems it was somehow resolved in the last year.
