SUMMARY
i recently started having major problems with Dolphin - i cannot reliably access a remote filesystem using sftp or fish protocols - changing folders in the remote filesystem very often produces the following error:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. access remote filesystem using sftp
2. change directories
3. repeat step 2 until error occurs

this appears to have been caused by PAM configuration
