SUMMARY
Dragging to move file a.txt from dolphin window 1 to dolphin window 2 works. A subsequent attempt to move file b.txt from window 1 to 2 results in an error on window 2 indicating a.txt no longer exists.

I have also seen odd occurrences when trying to move multiple files. There appears to be a problem with file selection and/or how file names are released after the file is moved. I've attached three gifs to illustrate.

NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols.

This is happening for me as well. I'm on Fedora 36 (plasma kde spin). This started relatively recently. I'm happy to provide any info you need.
Comment 5 Dave Lyon 2023-01-17 19:44:59 UTC
and btw, the behavior does not happen while moving within the same window, dragging to a subfolder etc.- only between two dolphin windows
