SUMMARY I have copied some files from a USB hard disk to an NFS mount; each had its own tab inside the same Dolphin window. I then unmounted and disconnected the disk, but kept the window open. I then tried to move some files from an SD card to the same NFS mount, but Dolphin only gave me the option to copy files (not move them). When I tried that, it complained that one of the files I copied earlier from the USB disk didn't exist (as it was looking for it in the directory where the disk was mounted) and prevented me from doing anything at all. Refreshing the view didn't work, just like going back and forth between folders, and the only thing that actually worked was to close Dolphin and open a new window. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a USB drive and a position outside of it (e.g. a remote folder) in the same Dolphin window using tabs 2. Copy some files from the USB drive to the other position 3. Unmount and remove the drive, but keep the window open 4. Try to copy or move files to the remote folder OBSERVED RESULT The copy process doesn't start and Dolphin complains about the files on the USB drive not existing. EXPECTED RESULT The copy process is performed as expected. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: KDE neon KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.101.0 Qt Version: 5.15.7 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
