KWin Support Information

SUMMARY
***
While being in System Settings app, and after applying any change the whole KDE environment experiences significant slowness and delay in behavior.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Login to KDE under Xorg platform
2. Open System Settings Application and under Workspace select Window Management
3. Change any setting and click Apply

OBSERVED RESULT
Here are the examples of the results:
- stage change of any object which should change its state while hovering over it with mouse pointer happens after 1-2 second delay
- typing reaction in Konsole is with similar 1-2 second delay
- dragging windows happens with same delay
- mouse cursor movement is instant (no delay observed)

EXPECTED RESULT
No delay/slowness after applying changes to any change in Window Management section of System Settings app.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The normal conditions can be achieved after logging off and logging into KDE.
During the slowness no significant resource usage spike is observed.
The condition does not happen while using Wayland platform.
