Note: this is with German translation. It could be that the text is not "Tab" but "Tabulator".
Comment 2 Devin Lin 2022-12-23 17:43:42 UTC
Do you know if keyboards sold in Germany have "Tab" or "Tabulator"? Those button names need to match the keys on the keyboard.
Comment 3 Plata 2022-12-23 18:01:05 UTC
Not sure if all are the same but I cannot recall any with text. They only have the symbol (↹).
Comment 4 Devin Lin 2022-12-23 18:05:17 UTC
Hmm, we probably need to get the translation changed to ↹ then for that language, I'm not super sure of the process for that...
Comment 5 Plata 2022-12-23 18:15:07 UTC
Or use the symbol generally? English keyboards also have it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tab_key.
Comment 6 Plata 2022-12-23 18:20:58 UTC
Actually, you cannot tab back (as in shift + tab), right? So U+21E5 (⇥) would be more correct.
Comment 7 Devin Lin 2022-12-23 18:45:22 UTC
Only older keyboards have the ↹ symbol, nowadays they usually just write "Tab". I personally would not be able to understand that character actually...
Comment 8 Frank Steinmetzger 2022-12-27 12:08:30 UTC
I checked: the translation indeed says „Tabulator“. 🙃 We’ll change it then.
