Description Ben Westover 2022-12-19 01:02:07 UTC
SUMMARY
Krfb should have an option in the settings to automatically start at login (or possibly start with sddm)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Power on computer
2. Log into KDE

OBSERVED RESULT
Krfb is not started, so I cannot remotely control this computer until I manually start it.

EXPECTED RESULT
Krfb should have the ability to run at login or boot so that I can remotely control the computer without manually starting it.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Arch Linux up to date as of December 18 2022
KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.100.0
Qt Version: 5.15.7

 Hi,

Krfb have the ability to run on boot, you need to set it with the kde system settings :

- System settings
- workspace -> startup and shutdown
- auto start

add the software you want to start on boot, here krfb, see below, starting well on boot for years now.

Yes, but I would prefer not to have the Krfb window open every time I log in. Is there an option to open Krfb in the background?
