SUMMARY Whenever I try to open a .bib file with KBibTex, it crashes. This is unrelated to the file contents, it even happens with an empty file. The packages version string is "0.9.90-1build2".
I am quite sure that KBibTeX does not crash because it does not find BibUtils. Lacking any more information, I am suspecting that this bug report here is a duplicate of bug 453455. I will add more information there (soon-ish) so that you can check if the information posted there fixes your problem. Then, this bug report here can be closed as a duplicate.
