Normally, on Krita's main menu, clicking on any top-level category opens it, clicking on it again closes it. However, in the Android version, I was unable to close an opened main menu by clicking on it again. It appeared that the menu did close in a split second, but it was opened again immediately after. I can only close an opened main menu by clicking outside the menu area.

Tested on:
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 with One UI 5.0 (Android 13).
Krita 5.1.4 and latest Krita Next nightlies (5.2.0).

Hi, Tyson!

Could you please check if this bug is still valid in Krita 5.2.3? I couldn't see such issues recently.

Hi Dmitry,

This bug still exists. I'm now using Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 with OneUI 5.1 (Android 14). I have just tested with both 5.2.3 and the latest nightly APK. The behavior was the same as stated in the original report.

In case you misunderstood what I meant, I can trigger this bug by doing the following:
1) In Krita's menu bar;
2) Click "File";
3) The "File" menu opens;
4) Click "File" again;
5) The "File" menu closed for a split second, but it was re-opened immediately after;

Workaround:
6) Click the empty space on the right side of Krita's main menu bar;
7) The "File" menu was able to close for good.

I can confirm that this always happens on android. I'm using a Galaxy tab S9, latest public Krita version. It also happens on some submenus, such as the brush preset list.
