Description Tobias Fella 2022-12-14 22:41:09 UTC
Sometimes it would be useful to have a way of opening a map for a location that there is no trip for; currently, this would require adding a trip with that location, opening that trip and then opening the map

This is about the indoor map I guess? (as for the "outdoor" map we defer to the default platform map anyway, which typically can do that)

We could add that I guess, at least until we have a stand-alone map app able to show indoor maps as well.

Yes, it's about the indoor map
Comment 3 Volker Krause 2022-12-16 15:20:40 UTC
What's the information to start with: public transport stop online search, address online search, selecting a building on a (outdoor) map, ...? Assuming raw geo coordinate input isn't what we want here :)

search for a public transport stop is what i had in mind; i guess for the other options the foundations are still lacking?

Not necessarily, we could possibly use QtLocation for those.
