In this situation, if I hit the return key to send the message, my ":D" will be replaced with :dotted line face: which is not exactly what I had in mind. Ideas: - Don't try to autocomplete emojis with capital letters after the colon, just lowercase letters - Create database of "ascii emoticons" that map to various emojis. Kind of like what KEmoticons did, in fact.
