Description Axel Braun 2022-12-13 11:00:56 UTC
Spectacle is invoked by the 'print' button and takes a snapshot of the whole screen. Works so far
when you now click 'new screenshot' for a rectangualr area, one has to hit 'Print' a second time before the instruction box comes up. This is not ideal, already since some versions, so not new.
Now additionally, a second or 2 after the instruction box is displayed, the screen turns very dark, so one can hardly see anything on the screenprint.
If spectacle is open, and printscreen is hit, no dark layer comes up. Kinda strange behaviour at all.
As it does not involve HDMI I *do not* consider this duplicate to #459211

All the code for this has changed completely for the 23.04 release, so the bug can't happen in the same way. Let's assume for now that it's fixed, but please do feel free to re-open the bug report if you find that the 23.04 release suffers from the same issue once you've upgraded to it and started using it. Thanks!
