STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start the program by command line or gui
2.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens. So I installed KDevelop on Manjaro, works fine. Tried several different methods and versions. While all other IDEs loaded on OpenSUSE Leap 15.4 work thus far, such as VS Codium, VS Code, Ecliipse C++ version, and SDK version, Code:Blocks, Julpyter Notebook, Eric6, etc, most all of which are installed on Manjaro, KDevelop will not start. No matter how many times installed and what version.

EXPECTED RESULT

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS OpenSUSE Leap 15.4
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.4
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Tried using Plasma DE as well as Cinnamon and also LXQT.

Have you tried creating a new session? From the command line:
kdevelop -n test
