SUMMARY In Bug 451515, I identified it as spam and moved it to Spam product. Later, Admins also edited the bug title and description to delete spam content. However, the bug still exists in the tracker, and it is not locked. Yesterday (2022-12-08 08:39:22 UTC), another spammer spammed by editing the URL field. Therefore, I would like to know whether there is a convenient way to report this kind of spamming (which is harder to notice, as in this case, spammers edit existing issues instead of creating new ones), and of course I hope there is a way to prevent it.
There are a couple of ways to do this: a) Email sysadmin@kde.org b) Mention it in #kde-sysadmin:kde.org on Matrix I've now removed that URL and have banned that account.
(In reply to Ben Cooksley from comment #1) > 1. Email sysadmin@kde.org > 2. Mention it in #kde-sysadmin:kde.org on Matrix Does that method also apply to spam issues like https://discuss.kde.org/t/how-does-one-report-a-spam-listing-visible-in-discover/40390?u=rokejulianlockhart? (I ask because I'm not 100% certain it's under KDE control.)
Yes it does
