Thank you for the bug report!

Please note that Plasma 5.25.5 is not supported for much longer by KDE; supported versions are 5.24, and 5.26 or newer.

If at all possible please upgrade to a supported version and verify that the bug is still happening there.

If you're unsure how to do this, contact your distributor about it.

When you say, "did not update the applications for the main monitor" do you mean that you expected app windows on the HDMI screen to move over to the laptop screen, but they did not?

When the system is in this state, if you move your cursor over to the area where the HDMI screen's area used to be located, does the cursor move there and become invisible? Or does it stop moving when it hits theedge of the laptop screen, unable to move into that area?

Also can you attach the output of `kscreen-doctor -o` in a terminal window?

Thanks!

When moving the mouse cursor, it becomes invisible along with the other windows, however the cursor can be brought to the main screen, the windows cannot.

Could you take a phone video of what happens so it's 100% clear? Thanks a lot!
