SUMMARY
Recent kate releases for macOS crash on launch on my MacBook Pro running Catalina 10.15.7

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download the DMG from https://binary-factory.kde.org/view/MacOS/job/Kate_Release_macos/
2. Open, and copy Kate to Applications
3. Allow the app to run under System Settings => Security and Privacy
4. Double-click the Kate icon in Applications

OBSERVED RESULT
See attached crash report
