Created attachment 154329 [details] example labplot2.9 of bad latex command display SUMMARY *** Whatever the input 'texte' (title, axis labels ...) on plot and if select as 'LateX', the resulting display is bad. Something is wrong with the police. Default is very clear if you try for instance to put a rotated label on y axis with LateX command. Letters are displayed elongated... *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. select 'plot', select y axis, input a text, for instance \alpha(\omega), choose LateX (texte, Latex, Markdown): nothing is displayed... 2. Change the police to 'arial' size 12, then the display is correct, but if you change the 'rotation' parameter, at 90° for instance, display of letters are very distorded and pixelerized. see attached screen shot 3. OBSERVED RESULT This is observed whatever the input 'text' when select LateX editing commands EXPECTED RESULT It should display a nicely normal or greek/math texte SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I usually used "veusz", witch is similar to laplot for display plots. (Latex commands work fine on veusz). Sincerly Victor

If it's feasible for you, can you please try out our nightly builds and check whether it works for you now, too?

Thank you for your answer, I tried a nightly version...and it seems to work correctly... Hope new version will coming soon. (As a scientist, LateX integration of text or symbols is very important) Congratulations for your work. sincerly, victor
