SUMMARY
I can't reproduce this bug consistently.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. use Wayland
2. drag an icon on desktop repeatedly
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
sometimes the icon is not visible while it is dragged. Please watch the attached screen recording.

EXPECTED RESULT
an icon on desktop is always visible while it is dragged

I can also only intermittently reproduce the issue.

I can't reproduce the issue anymore at all in the Plasma 5.27.4 Wayland session. Can you, Patrick?

Darn.

I'm noticing that all the icons that sometimes disappear while dragging are symlinks to apps. Can you reproduce the issue at all with non-symlinks? Or, symlinks to things that aren't apps' .desktop files?
