STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. make sure your system does not mount removable devices automatically
2. connect a removable device to usb port - I use a flash drive
3. open Dolphin
4. drag a file and drop it on your removable device shown in the Places panel
5. choose 'Copy' from the context menu

OBSERVED RESULT
the removable device is mounted but the file copy fails with 'The file or folder Invalid transfer does not exist.' error message. Please see the attached screenshot.

I cant reproduce it.
It seems it is not always reproducible.
This seems to points to a racing condition, for instance how fast the removable drive to mount.
Comment 4 Patrick Silva 2023-04-02 18:42:43 UTC
Humm, I can reproduce consistently with partitions of two internal hard disks and a usb flash drive.
