SUMMARY
Discover's UI doesn't warn users that Snap updates packages without user consent, that updates won't be visible in Discover's periodic notifications about system updates, and that applications installed by Snap will be restarted by the Snap system. These are all counter to expectations and different from everything else that Discover offers in search results, and so Snaps listed by Discover should contain an info panel above the fold that makes this clear.

I've investigated this, and believe it or not, it's a bug (typo) in the Snap store packaging. I'd recommend reporting it to them.
