Created attachment 154185 [details] Screen Capture of the effect SUMMARY Note: On X11 session, using multiple monitors and multiple Desktops (Desktop chosen doesn't affect reproducibility) After the switch I made to using multiple Desktops (switched with Ctrl + F1/F2/F3), I noticed opened windows, for example Firefox, Dolphin, etc, disappear from the Task Manager when dragged to a monitor, other then the primary one. I'm unsure has the recent change to using multiple Desktops has affected this, but that didn't happen a week ago, before I started using them. Moving just over the middle of the window is enough to show the behavior. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Log into X11 session, have at least 2 monitors, have multiple Desktops configured (unsure about the last one) 2. Open any application on primary monitor and notice it being highlighted in the Task Manager 3. Move the application to second monitor OBSERVED RESULT Watch the application icon from the Task Manager disappear EXPECTED RESULT The application icon stays on the Task Manager as opened application SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: ArchLinux 6.0.10-zen2-1-zen (64-bit) KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.100.0 Qt Version: 5.15.7 Session: X11 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Appears on kwin 5.26.3 also
Further noticed that Task Switcher does show all applications open, no matter on which monitor they are.
In the Task Manager's settings, do you have "Show only tasks: From current screen" checked?
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #2) > In the Task Manager's settings, do you have "Show only tasks: From current > screen" checked? I looked everywhere and didn't find that setting. How could I access it?
Right-click on empty area of the Task Manager > Configure Icons-Only Task Manager > Click on "Behavior" item in the sidebar.
