Screen Shot Of the problem with enough information to know it is a problem.

SUMMARY
***

Dolphin is telling me I do not have enough space to push 76GB of files to my empty 18TB drive.
This is due to Windoze; partially! The drive is hanging off a windows 10 machine. It is mounted in a folder on a 1TB drive.
So of course Windoze does not Report the free space of the Mounted Drive but only that of the Drive it is mounted on.
The 118GB drive has 67GB free, so as long as I keep my file selections below 67GB, it allows me to copy. I would prefer to move, but when I tell it to move something it will copy it then fail to delete the file. So I have to copy small chunks and then delete those files and copy another small chunk of files.
I would like an option in the settings to override it CHECKING to see if there is enough space and just start copying until it hits a write error.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a drive mount in the folder of a small drive on a windows machine; with the mounted drive being larger than the drive with the folder to be mounted into.
2. From A networked Linux(Ubuntu) box, Select enough files which are more in size than there is free space on the windoze drive containing the mounted drive.
3. Now copy those files and paste them into the mount drive.

Not the problem I am concerned with at the moment... but it keeps Not Responding. Even though I Force it to quit and restart it... it starts back up not responding. plus all file system processing STOPS!

I have to reboot to keep working. Going to search for another more stable and friendly file manager.

OBSERVED RESULT
Pinkish background box appears above the column header of the destination folder.
Message in the box: There is not enough space on the disk to write file:

EXPECTED RESULT
For Dolphin To Shut Up And Just Copy The Files! Actually To Move Them!

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10
Linux: Ubuntu 22.04
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)

KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
you can see that I asked Ubuntu to display the properties of the destination drive. /media/SrvrMedia and it reports more than 94TB on a 118GB drive. I have more than 200TB hanging off the windows machine.

I am attaching a screen shot of Ubuntu About, Dolphin About and the Dolphin Explorer window with the error and a view of the properties of the mounted drive.
