Description Jan B. 2022-11-24 15:58:25 UTC
SUMMARY
My Feature Request is to have something like preview monitor and a clock when using the presentation mode.
An example for this would be this https://pdfpc.github.io/ but it having an extra CLI tool only for presenting PDFs on my PC seems not very practical for me.
This can also be integrated into the normal window, because this is kept open during the presentation mode.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select View->Presentation or Ctrl+Shift+P

OBSERVED RESULT
Opens only on one monitor

EXPECTED RESULT
Opens Presentation on two monitors. One with a clock and the other one only the slides.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.99.0
Qt Version: 5.15.7
Graphics Platform: Wayland

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
First to force LibreOffice to open PDFs in "Impress" instead of "Draw" is not so easy. Second many of my PDFs have render errors when viewed with LibreOffice. So it is easier to ask you to extend the functionality of the presentation mode of Okular then asking LibreOffice to change their PDF backend for my broken LaTeX slides.
Having the presentation mode on one screen and the normal window on the other. Also running some kind of stopwatch application on top of the okular window for time tracking is not very nice to use.
