Description Rafael Linux User 2022-11-24 09:39:42 UTC
SUMMARY
I have done this kind of task a lot of times before. I'm in a remote Windows SMB folder that have subfolders. If I try to MOVE or DELETE a remote folder that have more than 1 level subfolders, Dolphin give me an error and begin to ask forever user(domain) / password, despite I'm authenticated in that folder!!! If fact, it shows "kf.kio.workers.smb: -- Failed to smbc_opendir: Invalid argument".

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Access to remote SMB folder, after authenticate
2. Try to move or delete a folder with 2 levels of subfolders

OBSERVED RESULT
Dolphin fails to delete / move folders showing an error (in log, it shows kf.kio.workers.smb: -- Failed to smbc_opendir: Invalid argumen) and asking for remote user/password forever.

EXPECTED RESULT
To delete/move complete folders independently of subfolder levels.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20221108
KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.99.0
Qt Version: 5.15.7
Kernel Version: 6.0.7-1-default (64-bit)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If I delete/move folders from the top subfolder to the root folder, there is not issue at all (as always).
