I'm working a lot with textures and when I cut and paste images from other files it would be nice to have an option to center the transform (based off the current canvas size). I need to stretch the texture to the edges of the canvas and it would be a lot easier if I could center it in one click and then use the scaling tools. Thanks.

Just to be sure, are you aware of and using the Snap to Center option? What makes it not suitable for your usecase?
