Description Mikael Karlsson 2002-08-07 11:21:36 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: nsplugins
Version: KDE 3.0.1
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc-2.95.3
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: SuSE 8.0

Using Qt 3.0.3 extensions for making nsplugins do not work properly with Konqueror. The trivial example included in the Qt extension is scanned properly and recognized. The plugin and its mime type is added to Konquerors plugin list but if fails to load the plugin when tha actual file or EMBED statement is loaded.
I checked several plugins and they load into both Netscape and Opera but not in Konqueror.

Subject: Re: Qt nsplugin trivial example do not load

Thanks for testing,
I'll try to see what went wrong for me more specifically.
I am actually intending to develop a plugin for Opera
(were it works fine :-), but when testing I will try to run
konqueror with gdb as well. I recall that I could not see any
widgets, just some empty boxes were they were supposed
to show up....
/Mikael
