"dem Arbeitsfläche" sollte "der Arbeitsfläche" sein; Allerdings ist das wort "arbeitsfläche" für "desktop" als gegensatz zu "mobiltelefon" auch eher ungeeignet

Ja, ich finde „Arbeitsfläche“ in diesem Fall auch unglücklich gewählt. Neochat hat aktuell allgemein viel Unübersetztes, das wird dann wohl mein nächster Abendzeitvertreib. :)
