I'm starting to work with groups quite often and I'm noticing some ease of use functionality that would be nice if it were added. If you select multiple layers and then go to create a group the group is created but the selected layers are not added to that group. It would be nice if the selected layer(s) would be added to the group automatically. This may require a second option (e.g. "Add Group Layer to Selection") as to not change the original functionality.

ctrl-g does what you want.
